Mobile app

The Kopperfield app puts your load calcs, line diagrams, panel schedules and site photos on your iOS or Android phone or tablet. It is available for every Kopperfield account and uses the same login as the website.

Download the app

• iPhone and iPad: Kopperfield on the App Store
• Android: Kopperfield on Google Play

You can also find both links in your dashboard. Click Mobile app in the left menu.

Sign in

1. Open the app and enter your email address, then tap Continue.
2. If you have a phone number on your profile, choose where to send your login code: Email or Phone.
3. Enter the 6-digit code in the Passcode box and tap Log in.
4. If the app offers Face ID or fingerprint login, tap the Enable button to use it next time, or Not now to skip.

The app signs in with an emailed or texted code. If you use Sign in with Google on the website, enter your Google email address in the app and use the code we send.

If you see Create a free account, we could not find an account for that email. Tap Try different email if you normally sign in with another address, or Create Account to start a free one.

If your code does not arrive

1. Check your spam or junk folder.
2. Wait for the timer, then tap Resend code.
3. If you have a phone number on your profile, tap Start over and choose Phone instead.
4. Still stuck? Email support@kopperfield.com from the address you are trying to use.

Find your way around

• Documents lists the documents already on your account.
• Tools starts something new: a load calculation, panel schedule, fault current calculation or a question in NEC chat. On a tablet you can start a diagram here too.
• Camera takes site photos and files them to a job. See Getting started with camera capture.
• Settings has your Subscription, Team settings, Notifications, Support and Logout.

On some accounts the tabs are arranged differently and the camera tab is called Captures.

Frequently asked questions

Can I draw a single line diagram on my phone?

No. Diagrams need a bigger canvas than a phone screen, so drawing works on a tablet or computer. On a phone you can still open and view diagrams that are already on your account from Documents.

Why don't I see a document I made on the website?

Check that you are signed in with the same email in both places. If you are, see I can't find my document.

How do I log out?

Go to Settings and tap Logout.
